Pineapples Boutique is a Hawaii-born brand with roots that began in Bali in 1994. Founder Sandra Tierney started designing and producing clothing with a woman-owned factory — a partnership that continues more than 32 years later. Many of the same skilled artisans and team members remain with us today, reflecting our long-standing commitment to ethical production and meaningful relationships.
The collection first grew as a wholesale line carried nationwide. From the beginning, our mission was simple: create clothing that makes women feel beautiful, confident, and comfortable. We became known for effortless silhouettes, soft fabrics, and flattering fits designed to suit women at every stage of life.
In 2010, after moving to Hawaii, Sandra and Susan opened the first Pineapples Boutique in Haleʻiwa on Oʻahu’s North Shore. Inspired by the drive through pineapple fields and the pineapple’s symbol of Hawaiian hospitality, the brand found its island home. What began as one small boutique has grown to three locations across Oʻahu and Kauaʻi.
Today, Pineapples Boutique blends island inspiration with ethically crafted resortwear — timeless pieces designed for comfort, elegance, and sunshine-inspired living.
